I have only just discovered that Fred died last year and I am so sorry to have missed the service

Fred and I were best mates in the 70s and 80s we were both very competitive in sport and in life in general and our families were also

close spending time together on numerous occasions

Fred always looked out for me was a great listener and always fun and entertaining to be with, I can't believe he is gone

We lost touch for a number of years ago and then caught up again with each other by chance few years back

My heartfelt sympathy goes out to Linda and his family and friends he will always be remembered fondly for those that knew him and I

for one am so grateful to have know him and shared so many great moments together I will never ever forget you
